Tehran (IP) - Iran's Quds Forces commander says no matter how much the US and the Israeli regime put pressure on Iran, Tehran will put double pressure on them.

Iran PressIran News: In a speech on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Iran's late ambassador to Yemen, Hasan Irlou, The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps Quds Force, Brigadier General Esmaeil Ghaani called him a man of war, diplomacy, and politics.

The ceremony of the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Iran's late ambassador to Yemen, Hassan Irlou, was held today in Tehran with the presence of the army and country figures.

At the beginning of this meeting, the message of Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs, about Hasan Irlou was read, and then the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanaani, gave a speech.

Following, Brigadier General Esmaeil Ghaani said: "The highest term to describe Hasan Irlou is "resistance" if we want to stand against arrogance, we must be resistant."

He went on to say that any country would be completely crushed if it was sanctioned the way Iran was, but what Iran has maintained is resistance. "America and the Zionist regime are the resistance's enemies, Saudi Arabia is their residuum, and they are not worth being called enemies."

"No matter how much they put pressure on Iran, Iran will not fail. Iran is a country of resistance and production of power, not for itself, but for every honorable person, both Muslim and non-Muslim, who lives on earth," the commander highlighted.

"The Americans spent seven thousand billion dollars and several tens of thousands in the death toll, but in the main fields, they did not get anything other than discredit, disgrace, and misery. They cannot fight Iran in the main fields. Americans, Europeans, and their residuum in the region, because they are not war people, follow low tactics to hide their defeat in the field and present themselves as winners in the media," he added.

The commander of the IRGC Quds Force also pointed to the US failures in Iraq and noted: "The criminal president of America martyred Gen. Soleimani because of his incapacity, not because of his strength and ability."

Furthermore, Ghaani also pointed to the unrest in the occupied Palestinian territories and said: "At least 40 to 50 operations are carried out against Israel in the West Bank alone. The entire West Bank is twice the size of the city of Tehran, and on some days, ten operations are carried out there."

He concluded: "Iran would not surrender under pressure. We, in the Quds Forces, say that whatever pressure America and the Zionist regime put on us, there will be no doubt that the pressure will be doubled on them."
