Iran Press/ Iran news: The Tehran derby, also known as the Blue-Red derby, is a football match between the two prominent Tehran clubs, Esteghlal and Persepolis.
In his press conference on Dec. 19, 2022, Yahya Golmohammadi stressed that Persepolis would stand against Esteghlal with all strength to win.
Golmohammadi stated that all players should only pay attention to the game.
He stated that Cheick Tiemoko Diabate would not play for tomorrow's derby, hoping his footballers would play a coherent game.
He also said that Jürgen Leonardo Locadia would not be present at tomorrow's derby, claiming he does not know why Locadia left Iran.
The match between Esteghlal and Persepolis football teams in the Iran Professional League (IPL) is scheduled to be held on Tuesday (December 20) in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
