Sana'a(IP) - The exhibition of Yemeni martyrs is being held in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen, on the occasion of national "Martyrs' Week."

Iran PressMiddle East: Yemenis every year mark "Martyr's Week" in memory of the martyred soldiers on the battlefield with the Saudi Arabia coalition, one of the parts of which is the establishment of an exhibition.

The pictures of the Yemeni war martyrs were raised in the exhibition to keep their memory alive for the young generation.

Saudi Arabia, with the support of the United States, the UAE, and several other countries, has launched a military invasion of Yemen since March 2015, putting a land, sea, and air siege on the impoverished country.

The pictures of Lieutenant General "Qassem Soleimani," the martyred commander of the resistance axis, have also been displayed in the exhibition of Yemeni martyrs.

Yemenis consider martyred Lt Gen Soleimani as one of the martyrs of Yemen who supported the popular resistance of Yemen in the war with the Saudi coalition.

Lt General Qassem Soleimani, the Late Iranian IRGC Quds Forces commander, and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, Iraqi PMU deputy head, played an important role in the victory over ISIS terrorist outfit in Iraq and Syria.

On January 3, 2020, when Lt General Soleimani entered Baghdad for a trip at the invitation of the then-Iraqi government, his convoy was targeted by a missile attack by American drones upon direct order of former US President Donald Trump, and he was martyred along with his companions, including Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.

The exhibition of Yemeni martyrs has been widely welcomed by the people and supporters of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, especially the young generation.
