Iran Press/ Iran news: Upon his arrival in Birjand on Thursday morning in the second round of his provincial trip all across Iran, Ebrahim Raisi said that despite the enemy's attempts to orchestrate the plots and seditions and recent riots, the people had disappointed enemies thanks to their vigilance, insight and, state of awakening.
President Raisi also said that unlike the last round of provincial trips during which he could not visit the people due to COVID-19 restrictions, this time, he is going to receive them and talk to them in person.
He further said that the people are seeking independence in every field, including the economy and politics.
The President said: "The enemy sees that our sons and daughters are studying and our women and people are working hard. In general, our country is progressing and excelling. Agriculture and in all fields of science and technology do not want the country to progress."
Pointing out that Iran is progressing and some doubt its progress, he added: "But we say that the train of progress is moving forward and the enemy wants to stop this train."
In another part of his speech, the president said: "South Khorasan is known for knowledge and culture, and this province is a symbol of wisdom and piety.
He added: "First of all, this province's products are the products cultivated in this province along with religious, scientific, and cultural teachings and have shown themselves to be effective personalities in every village."
Raisi said that South Khorasan province has hard-working and insightful people whose insight is exemplary and continued: "Accompanying the Imam and Leader of the Revolution, participating in the vigorous defense of the country's borders and land, defending the values of the Islamic Revolution, having a meaningful presence in all social and political fields have really turned South Khorasan into a symbol of insight, piety, needs, and timely decision-making, presence and declaration of positions.
The president said: "The people of South Khorasan, with all the hardships they face in life due to the problem of water shortage and rainfall, but without exaggeration, the people of the province are a symbol of gratitude and patience."
He added: "The people of this province are always grateful to God, they are patient and resilient in the face of all problems, and you as a people are not only famous for these qualities and manifestations, but because you are a people who know your friends and enemies very well. You take your position on time."
Raisi said that one of the good aspects of the people of South Khorasan is that they know the issues well.
In fact, you are a positive presence in various fields, reassuring and exemplary for our people all over the country."
He said: "What is an honor for me is the support I give to South Khorasan and the people of this province."
Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Birjand, the capital of South Khorasan, this Thursday morning at the beginning of the second round of his provincial trips.
He was officially welcomed by The Leader's representative, the governor, and a group of local officials.
The president will visit a number of projects in the province, which had been decided to be completed during the previous visit of the popular government to South Khorasan, and in addition, during this visit, the strategic Qayen sponge steel project and the Birjand wastewater complex and treatment plant will also be inaugurated.
Raisi will also have a public meeting with the people of Birjand and Nehbandan and will give a speech to them.
The president will summarize the decisions taken during this trip in the meeting of the provincial planning council, and after that, he will explain the results and achievements of the second trip of the people's government to South Khorasan in a press conference.
Ministers of Energy, Interior, Industry, Mining and Trade, Health, Medical Education, Jihad-Agriculture, Vice President of Women Affairs, Executive Vice President, and Chief of Office of the President will accompany Ayatollah Raisi on this trip.
