Tehran (IP) – Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran announced the visit of officials of the International Atomic Energy Agency to Tehran in the coming days.

Iran PressIran News: Mohammad Eslami announced the news to reporters at the sidelines of the cabinet meeting on Wednesday and said: "Iran's interactions with the IAEA have been established and it is hoped that a step forward will be taken in order to remove the existing barriers."

On November 22, the International Atomic Energy Agency Board of Governors passed a resolution against Iran's peaceful nuclear activities under intense political pressure from the United States, England, France, and Germany in its quarterly meeting.

This is the third resolution of the IAEA BoG against Iran after the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) implementation and the closure of the case of alleged safeguard issues, which was issued under the pressure of the Israel regime in the IAEA BoG.

On June 19, 2020, and June 8, 2022, a similar resolution was proposed and approved by the three European countries that are parties to the JCPOA and supported by the United States. Still, the third resolution had a more robust and radical tone against Iran and its cooperation with the IAEA than the previous two.
