Tehran (IP) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman lambasted the awarding of a so-called human right prize to Iranian women by two major violators of human rights, namely France and Germany.

Iran PressIran News: In his Twitter account on Monday, Nasser Kanaani wrote that the Iranian nation definitely deserves the human rights award, because their human rights, for many years, have been violated by notorious human rights violators.

These claimants have a dark and shameful history regarding the violation of human rights and the rights of the Iranian nation, he added.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman's comments came in response to the so-called Franco-German human right prize awarded by the countries to the Iranian nation under the pretext of supporting the recent riots in Iran.

This comes as western countries, for many years, have been the major violator of human rights by imposing cruel sanctions against independent countries like Iran.

The recent western-backed unrest in Iran was under the pretext of a 22-year-old girl Mahas Amini's death. Rioters have carried out armed attacks in some cities of Iran, killing innocent people and security forces.
