Tehran (IP) - Iran's President says the enemy's media imperialism just misrepresents the truth by fabricating stories and lying.

Iran PressIran News: Unrest was instigated under the pretext of Mahsa Amini, 22, who died due to a sudden heart attack in a police center in Tehran on Tuesday, September 13.

Speaking in a ceremony to commemorate the martyrs of security in Tehran, Ebrahim Raisi said the enemies of the Islamic Republic attacked the Iranian people in the recent unrest just as ISIS did so and revealed their feud with the Islamic Revolution.

Raisi highlighted the enemies' double standards for human rights and said that they chanted slogans in favor of 'the right to life on the one hand, and sent their armed assassins to Shiraz to kill a 10-year-old child and his parents in Shahcheragh Shrine.

He referred to the US invasion of Afghanistan under the pretext of bringing democracy to the country, which left 35,000 children maimed and a lot of homes destroyed, and said: "And still they claim that they give life! to which people in the world, they have so far given life?"

Raisi said that the enemies made attempts to attack the Iranian values, including the Islamic Revolution through waging a hybrid, but the very Iranian nation stood against them and thwarted their plots.

The family of those martyred for the security of the people demanded Iran's president for the identification and trial the assassins; Raisi promised that the issue will be pursued decisively by the relevant bodies in the country.

The US and some European countries politicians, their media, along with the Persian-language media affiliated to them, namely the London-based BBC Persian and Iran International, stepped in to fuel the riots under the pretext of supporting the rights of the Iranian nation.

During the recent unrest, the rioters destroyed public property, even ambulances, and set fire to houses, mosques, and even people in the streets. They carried out armed attacks in some cities, including Isfahan, killing several people and security forces.
