Iran Press/ Iran news: In recent days, the Turkish army has started a new round of attacks on northern Syria under the pretext of fighting terrorists. These attacks have been responded to with a strong reaction from the Syrian government.
In this telephone conversation, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian while noting Türkiye's security concerns and the need to address these concerns, emphasized that the realization of this requires the continuation of security talks between Syria and Türkiye, and resorting to ground military operations will not only help to solve the problems but also cause more damage and complicate the situation.
Iran's top diplomat further announced the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to provide any assistance in order to resolve the political problems between Türkiye and Syria.
