Kuwait(IP)- A Kuwaiti researcher on Palestinian issues told Iran press that the criminalization of normalizing ties with the Zionist regime is on the Kuwaiti parliament's agenda.

Iran PressMiddle East: A Kuwaiti researcher on Palestinian issues said that popular activities are carried out at a very high level in Kuwait to fight against the Zionist regime in all fields.

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, "Abdullah Al-Mousavi" stated that in the past, Kuwait has resisted all attempts to normalize relations with the Zionist regime, and it will continue to do so in the future as well.

He added that the majority of Kuwaiti people are against the normalization of relations with the Israeli regime in the fields of sports, culture, and academics at all levels. He further stated that the main goal of normalization is to forget and eliminate the Palestinian issue.

This Kuwaiti researcher on Palestinian issues noted that a few weeks ago, a group of Kuwaiti parliament members proposed a law criminalizing any kind of normalization of relations with the Zionist regime.

Abdullah Al-Mousavi stated that after the approval of the law in the Kuwaiti Parliament, any attempt to normalize relations with the Zionist regime in any field would be considered a crime, and such actions would be prosecuted according to the law.

He also said: "We will try to approve this law with the cooperation of the Kuwaiti parliament, and we will oppose any attempt to normalize relations with the Zionist regime. This is the least thing we can do for the Palestinian issue."
