Tehran (IP) - Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it strongly condemns the anti-Iranian action of a few Western countries' imposing an anti-Iranian resolution on the UN Human Rights Council.

Iran PressIran news: The Iranian foreign ministry said that it was regrettable that the Human Rights Council once again was misused for the short-term benefit of a few Western countries.

The ministry referred to the death of Mahsa Amini, under the pretext of which unrest was instigated in Iran, and said all of the Iranian authorities took a humane approach to the case based on their attitudes which were rooted in the religious teachings and Iranian civilization.

The approach was adopted on the basis of national responsibility, internal laws, humanitarian principles, as well as adherence to the obligations to the international mechanisms, it added.

Despite the violent and sedative behavior of some protesters, the foreign interventions in the form of armed terrorist groups during the recent two months, the statement said, the Iranian security force confront the rebels while practicing maximum self-restraint against the rioters, which led to the injury of thousands of the security forces and martyrdom of scores them.

The statement also described the conformity of Germany and other advocates of the anti-Iranian resolution as an act driven by hybrid political purposes and pointed out that such an approach would not help the human rights' elevation but also would sacrifice it for their hostile policies against other countries.

The Iranian foreign ministry added that the resolution by some Western countries, including Germany, was issued by wrong calculation under the pressure of some hostile media's smear propaganda, which would lead to their detriment.

The resolution approved in Geneva against Iran, Iran's MFA stressed, was the direct result of the use of false information to proceed with the anti-Iranian goals of a few Western countries in international forums.

Iran's Foreign Minister said at the end of its statement that the national fact-finding committee was formed to investigate the case of Mahsa Amini's death as well as the recent development of the country and emphasized that any parallel mechanism to probe into the past two-month issue of Iran was considered the violation of the country's sovereignty.

Unrest and brawls were instigated under the pretext of Mahsa Amini, 22, who died due to a sudden heart attack in a police center in Tehran on Tuesday, September 13, after being taken there for violation of dress codes along with some other women.
