The hideouts and strongholds of the separationist terrorist groups settled in Iraq's Kurdistan region were targeted by missiles and drones late on Sunday.

Iran PressMiddle East: It is the third extensive drone and missile operation against the terrorist groups sheltered in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

The sound of gunfire was heard after the bombing of both the Koya and Jejnikan camps in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) hit the separationist groups on September 24 and November 14 after successive warnings to the terrorist groups and stressed that as long as their destructive acts were not stopped, the operations would continue.

On October 8, the IRGC declared that the attack on the terrorists' positions was stopped after the predetermined targets were destroyed, but the continuation of the missile attacks would depend on future behavior.

The Commander of the IRGC's Ground Forces, Brigadier-General Mohammad Pakpour, had earlier noted that the operations would continue until the full disarmament of the terrorist groups.
