The Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the recent anti-Iran resolution passed by the IAEA Board of Governors was aimed at exerting political pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran PressIran news: In a tweet on Sunday, Naser Kanaani wrote, "The resolution was issued while Iran had the most transparent peaceful nuclear program compared to the number of facilities under the supervision of the IAEA in the world and has been subject to the strictest inspections and verifications."

Kanaani emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran had previously warned the Western parties about the consequences of this illogical and destructive action, saying: "Unfortunately, the use of international organizations as a tool against independent nations has become the norm of Western foreign policy."

"The Islamic Republic of Iran will never give in to pressure and will continue the peaceful nuclear program in accordance with its needs and in compliance with its rights and obligations under the international treaties of which it is a member," he said.

"In response to the recent action of the European Troika and the United States, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, in the first step, started several measures as of today in the presence of inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency in the enrichment complexes of Shahid Ahmadi Roshan (Natanz) and Dr. Alimohammadi (Fordo)," added Kanaani.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran is still ready, within the framework of its inalienable rights, to react appropriately to the actions of the Western parties whenever they return to their commitments and adhere to them and stop political actions," he concluded.
