Tehran (IP) - The Secretary of the 52nd Roshd International Film Festival says the event has focused on school as a link between teachers, students, and parents, with the slogan "identity-building school."

Iran PressIran news: Roshd film festival is an annual educational film festival held in five categories: Animation, short films, documentaries, feature films, and web series. The festival's awards include the golden statuette with a cash prize, the silver statuette with a cash prize, and the honorary diploma with a cash prize.

In the 52nd Roshd International Film Festival press brief, Sadegh Yazdani stated that students and teachers are the main audiences of the festival, which is the main point of the Roshd festival.

He noted: 3,460 films have been sent to the 52nd Roshd International Film Festival by mid-November, of which 2,400 are foreign films from 115 countries and more than 900 are Iranian works.

He further added: A team of 25 members from the selection board is currently reviewing the works received by the festival.

Also, the Deputy Minister and Head of the Educational Research and Planning Organization highlighted the festival's aims, saying: "One of the important aims of the 52nd Roshd International Film Festival helps schools' educational content be more effective and fruitful."

Ali Latifi noted that the festival enjoys the capacity to showcase Iran's domestic capabilities.

Latifi described the international event as the most historic art one in Iran's educational system and even throughout the country.

The 52nd Roshd International Film Festival is scheduled to be held in December 2022.
