Iran Press/ Middle East: President Ebrahim Raisi met with the Iranian footballers before their departure for Qatar.
Raisi called on the national team members to do their best to bring honor to the Iranian nation and make people happy.
He also wished them success at the FIFA World Cup Qatar set to begin on November 8.
Iran's national football team will face Britain in its first match in the group stage of the 2022 World Cup on November 21, 2022.
The Qatar World Championships will be held from November 21 to December 18, 2022.
