Sistan and Baluchestan (IP) - The representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution says the enemies will never succeed in casting division among the people of Sistan and Baluchestan province.

Iran PressIran News: A high-ranking delegation on behalf of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution visited Sistan and Baluchestan province, southeast of Iran, to examine the recent unrest there.

Mohammad-Javad Haj-Ali-Akbari said that the recent incidents in Sistan and Baluchestan province, southeastern Iran, concerned the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, so he called for a decisive confrontation with those who disturbed the security of the province and damaged people's lives and property.

Haj-Ali-Akbari made the remarks on Monday at a conference in Sistan and Baluchestan which was participated by the province's top clerics, scholars, academicians, the leaders of Shia and Sunni tribes, and other officials of the city.

The top representative told the people who participated the in the conference that the delegation was missioned to listen to different groups of the province and convey their words to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. 

Friday, September 30, after the Sunni Friday prayers were performed in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan province, a group of individuals attacked police station No.16 in the vicinity of the mosque of Friday prayers; They planned to occupy the police station.

Due to the conflict between the attackers and the police forces, a number of the people either lost their lives or were injured.
