Tehran (IP) – The foreign ministers of Iran and Oman in phone talks on Wednesday night discussed the latest statute of west sanctions against Iran and exchanged views on bilateral, regional, and international issues.

Iran PressIran News: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Badr Albusaidi in a phone talk referring to the positive relations between the two countries, discussed the latest status of negotiations to lift the West's oppressive sanctions on Iran.

Referring to the positive and constructive efforts of the Sultan of Oman, Amir-Abdollahian thanked his counterpart for reaching a good, strong, and stable agreement.

The relations between Iran and Oman in the last few decades, despite the tensions in the Persian Gulf and US efforts to intensify Iranophobia, have always been based on mutual respect and interests.

Omani officials believe that close relations with Iran are based on realism and consider Iran as a great neighbor.

The two countries do not have any territorial and border disputes with each other.

Iran's support for Oman has been positively imprinted in Oman's historical memory.
