Tehran (IP) - Foreign Minister’s senior advisor for special political affairs met with the Director of the Diplomatic Institute at the Syrian Foreign Ministry and the Syrian Ambassador in Tehran to follow up on bilateral agreements.

Iran PressIran News:  Ali Asghar Khaji, along with a number of senior officials of the Iranian Foreign Ministry held talks Tuesday with Imad Mustafa and Shafiq Dayoub to discuss means of boosting cooperation between the two sides and following up on bilateral issues earlier discussed by Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian with his Syrian counterpart Fayssal Mikdad during his latest visit to Tehran last week.

The two sides discussed bilateral ties and the latest developments in Syria, the region, and the world.

The Syrian delegation also discussed with Mahdi Safari, the Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomatic affairs, aspects of the economic cooperation and upgrading it to the high level of strategic relations between the two countries.
