Tehran (IP) - Iran's Police Chief referring to people's participation in 13th Aban rallies on Friday, said that Iranians have proved to the world that they are standing up against US conspiracies.

Iran PressIran News: Today, Friday, November 4, 2022 (13th Aban in the Persian calendar" Iranian people marked "National Students Day and National Day of Fighting Global Arrogant Powers and Imperialism" by attending nationwide rallies.

People from all sides of walks take part in the rallies across the country.

Today's rallies were a remembrance of November 4, 1979, when Iranian students took over the US Den of Spies (US embassy) in Tehran in protest of numerous US conspiracies against the Islamic Revolution.

Took over the US embassy in Tehran occurred because it was a place for espionage against Iran some month after the Islamic Revolution victory, so it was named 'Den of Espionage.'  

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Friday during the "National Day of Fighting Global Arrogance," Brigadier-General Hossein Ashtari stated sideline of the "Aban March 13 (November 4)" rally in Tehran on Friday said: " Today people of Iran from all walks of life declared their readiness to stand against the arrogant powers of the world."

He stressed that the people, unanimously following the guidance of the Leader of the Revolution ( Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei", are on the right track to success.

Brigadier-General Ashtari stated: "The police consider their duty to ensure the safety of the people and even sacrifice their lives in this purpose."

The Police Chief called on the authorities to confront those who violated the law and attacked security forces.
