Iran Press/ Europe: Iran has recently been the target of imperialist-fueled protests since the death of Mahsa Amini, whose demise was wrongfully blamed on the Iranian police after false accusations rose regarding the incident.
"I am shocked that people who are peacefully demonstrating at protests in Iran are dying. We condemn the disproportionate use of force by the security forces and stand by the people of Iran. Our EU sanctions are important. We are examining further steps," Olaf Scholz said in a tweet.
Yesterday, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock had said that Berlin and the EU were considering listing Iran's Revolution Guard Corps as a "terrorist organization" - something which Iran has fervently been opposing throughout the Vienna talks.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani earlier in the day slammed the EU and Canada for their provocative measures that contributed to the rise in tensions and riots in the Islamic Republic.
Kanaani accused their interference and unconstructive, irresponsible acts, as he emphasized that they did not permit any leeway for peaceful criticism to be heard - by exploiting the excuse of democracy to ignite riots in Iran.
Iran, a country that has suffered years of unjust sanctions due to its defiance of western imperialism, has been countering a surge of foreign agents commissioned to stir disruption in the country, as well as a surge in terrorists targeting civilians.
On October 26, an armed terrorist entered the shrine at approximately 5:45 p.m. local time (14:15 GMT) a little before evening prayers, and by opening fire, killed 13 pilgrims, a woman, and two children in cold blood, leaving at least 40 others wounded.
