Tehran (IP) - Vice-President of Iran's Judiciary for International Affairs and Secretary of I.R of Iran's High Council for Human Rights said that a lawsuit will be filed in the Tehran Court of Justice to bring against the United States for having a direct role in the recent riots."

Iran PressIran news: According to an Iran Press report on Saturday, Kazem Gharibabadi, Secretary of the I.R of Iran's High Council for Human Rights and the Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs stated: "Due to the involvement and direct role of the United States in the recent riots, it was decided to file a law suit in the Tehran Court of Justice to determine the damages and issue the necessary verdict against this country."

Referring to the destructive role of Iran International and BBC Persian Television in directing and provoking riots, destroying public and private property and equipment, terrorist acts, and providing training on how to create conflicts and build relevant tools, the Secretary of the I.R of Iran's High Council for Human Rights said: "The television network and its agents should be added to the list of terrorist groups and individuals. On the other hand, documentary cases about the actions of these networks are being compiled, and judicial actions will be pursued against them in domestic and foreign courts soon."

Gharibabadi added: "In the meantime, the role of the countries that host and support these networks, namely Britain and Saudi Arabia, will not be ignored by the relevant government agencies."

Vice-President of Iran's Judiciary for International Affairs also pointed to the attacks against Iranian diplomatic places and persons in some countries and said: "All diplomatic missions and agents are immune to any aggression, assault, and damage, and the receiving country has a special duty to take all measures. It is necessary to protect and prevent invasion and damage to diplomatic missions and agents.

Gharibabadi called on the countries where Iranian diplomatic missions and agents have been attacked in their territory to fulfill their international obligations in promoting the protection and guaranteeing non-repetition of these events and compensation of material and moral losses to hold the perpetrators and those in charge of these incidents and prosecute them, otherwise according to the 1973 convention, they should be extradited to Iran for trial.
