Tehran(IP) - In a phone call with the European Union's foreign policy chief, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that Iran and Russia have defense cooperation but providing Russia with weapons and drones against Ukraine is not Tehran's policy.

Iran PressIran News: In a phone call with the European Union's foreign policy chief, the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, while reminding the Islamic Republic's position regarding the war in Ukraine, clarified: "The Alleged claim of sending Iranian missiles to Russia for use against Ukraine is baseless. We have defense cooperation with Russia, but it is not our policy to send weapons and drones against Ukraine."

According to Iran Press, "Hossein Amir-Abdollahian" announced in a tweet on Thursday about his phone call with European Union's foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, and wrote: "Today, during the phone call with Josep Borrell, I reminded him that our clear policy is stop war and its escalation in Ukraine."
