Tehran (IP) - Iran's minister of Interior says some of the rioters who created the recent unrest in the country were trained abroad and received payment for their acts of sabotage.

Iran PressIran news: The instigation of brawls and riots in Iran under the pretext of a young girl's death once again caused the country's foreign enemies to step in and fuel the unrest.

Unrest and brawls were instigated under the pretext of Mahsa Amini, 22, who died due to a sudden heart attack in a police center in Tehran on Tuesday, September 13, after being taken there for violation of dress codes along with some other women.

Iran's Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi said on Thursday that those who criticize Iran for supporting Gaza and Lebanon today create unrest in the country while being guided by the Persian-language media affiliated with Saudi Arabia.

He pointed out that various groups were active in the recent unrest, for example, those organized by the Israeli regime and paid the rioters for each Molotov cocktail they threw.

In the recent unrest, the foreign-baked media, US politicians, and some European leaders spared no effort to exploit the pretext in support of the rioters in the name of the Iranians. At the same time, millions of people in Iran came out to condemn the rioters and support the Islamic Republic.
