Arak (IP) - The Ambassador of Nicaragua to Tehran says the Islamic Republic of Iran has progressed successfully in generating science and technology despite the enemies' campaigns.

Iran PressIran News: Isaac Lenin Bravo said in the opening ceremony of the 14th edition of Iran's International Stone Exhibition: "Despite all campaigns, Iran has managed to produce science and technology and enjoys high capacities in industry and mining."

The 14th international stone exhibition was opened on Tuesday in Arak city, central Iran, and is underway until Friday, October 14. 

"We are in the historical moment of strengthening Iran-Latin America ties, and Nicaragua, as Iran's ally, should play an effective role in Latin America," Lenin Bravo said."

He soon reported an agreement between Iran and Nicaragua, including tax exemption on exports and imports.
