New Delhi (IP) - As the birth anniversary of Hazrat Mohammad, the beloved prophet of Islam (PBUH), approaches, special celebrations are being held in different cities of India.

On the initiative of Imam Khomeini (RA), the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awl (Sunni tradition) to the 17th of Rabi-ul-Awl (Shi'a tradition) has been named Unity Week.
