Iran Press/ Iran News: About 90 companies producing machines and other agricultural equipment and tools from different provinces of Iran showcased their latest capabilities and achievements in the exhibition for four days, from October 4 to 7, 2022.
Today, using modern technology in the agricultural industry plays a crucial role in increasing the production of high-quality agricultural products and food security. The exhibition was held in this context.
Displaying domestic production of various types of machines and other agricultural tools and equipment, such as spraying drones, combines, and mechanized transplanters in the exhibition, shows that Iran's agricultural industry has made good progress in meeting its needs with modern technology.
Experts say modern technology plays a vital role in developing agriculture and food security.
Golestan Province is one of the leading provinces in Iran in the agricultural sector and has the highest production rank in more than nine strategic products, such as cotton, canola, and wheat.
There are nearly 700,000 hectares of agricultural land in the province, and about 3.5 million tons of farm products are produced annually in this northern province of Iran.
