Iran Press/ Iran News: Prosecutor general in Tehran Ali Salehi said that after the order of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, regarding the distinction between seditionists and young people and teenagers who come to the street due to excitement caused by watching a program on TV or the internet and the emphasis of the head of the judiciary regarding the immediate handling of the situation of the detained people, 400 people among those who have been arrested during the recent riots were released.
Salehi made the remarks following a four-hour visit to the Greater Tehran Central Penitentiary and a three-hour visit to the Evin prison.
Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Iranian woman, died at a Tehran hospital last Friday, three days after she slipped into a coma while receiving training on the proper rules of wearing a Hijab at the headquarters of the morality police in Tehran.
Shortly after her death, allegations of mistreatment and even torture surfaced on social media platforms, and Western media outlets lost no time in picking up the story and willfully distorting it.
Under the pretext of Mahsa's death, the anti-Iranian media and bloggers affiliated with the Western states have been fueling the unrest in Iran.
The rioters desecrated the Islamic sanctities, including the holy Quran; they burnt Quran and set fire to the martyrs' pictures. The rioters even set fire to ambulances.
