Iran Press/ Iran News: A joint graduation ceremony for the cadets studying in the academies of the Armed Forces was held on Monday, at Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba (PBUH), the University of Officer and Police Training, with Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in attendance.
In his speech at the event and speaking about the recent events in the country, the leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution said: "In an incident a young girl’s death was a tragic incident that saddened us too. But the right reaction to it wasn’t for some to create insecurity for people, burn the holy Quran, the mosques, banks, & people’s cars, and pull off women’s scarves. These weren’t normal acts. They were planned."
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that these riots were pre-planned and said: "If the young girl had not died, some people would have created insecurity and chaos in the country under other pretexts."
Ayatollah Khamenei stressed: "I say clearly that these riots and insecurities were designed by America and the usurping and fake Zionist regime, and their hirelings and some traitorous Iranians abroad helped them."
Why have US media not supported rebellions in other countries?
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said, "Some individuals are against stating that certain events were designed and carried out by the enemy. They stand up to defend US and Zionist intelligence services and use fallacious analysis and rhetoric to deny it was the enemy's work."
"Many riots take place around the world. Especially in France, massive riots occur now and then, but has the US president ever supported European rioters, issued a declaration, or said we stand with you? Is there any record of US media supporting them?" the Leader noted.
"Will the media affiliate with US capitalism, and their agents support the rioters in these countries like some regional governments, including the Saudis? Hvae we ever seen the Americans announcing that we provide Internet hardware or software to rioters to communicate easily?" said Ayatollah Khamenei.
Ayatollah Khamenei added: But such support has happened many times in Iran. So why do some people not see the foreign plots, and how can a vise person not see that there are other hands behind these events?
