Vienna (IP)- The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) said that The Islamic Republic of Iran is always bound to comply with safeguards regulations.

Iran PressEurope: Mohammad Eslami, the Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), said about his meetings on the sidelines of the 66th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, referring to his meeting with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, added: The Islamic Republic of Iran is always bound to comply with safeguards. We are also committed to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and will facilitate the IAEA's supervision of its activities by its regulations. We will continue to do so in the future.

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran stated: "Iran provides the grounds for continued cooperation with the IAEA regarding nuclear activities and does it in a reassuring manner, and the IAEA has repeatedly acknowledged the approval of this matter."

The Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran noted: It is essential for us to be able to remove the existing obstacles in Iran's way to advance the development plans based on the comprehensive strategic document of the nuclear industry.

Eslami also referred to the negotiations with the Russian delegation and Rosatom about the cooperation project between Iran and Russia.

Iran AEOI head meets IAEA chief in Vienna

Rosatom, also known as Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation, the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom or Rosatom State Corporation, is a Russian state corporation headquartered in Moscow that specializes in nuclear energy, nuclear non-energy goods, and high-tech products.

He further referred to his meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, saying: "It was decided that the Hungarian delegation will travel to Iran in the future, and we will be able to plan in line with the major memorandum of Understanding that was exchanged."

The head of AEOI emphasized: "The general meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency is basically an opportunity to hold meetings between experts and officials in the nuclear field of different countries. These meetings always provide opportunities for interaction and dialogue."
