New York(IP)-Iran's Foreign Minister and the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for Syria reviewed the latest developments in the war-torn country.

Iran PressAmerica: Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who is in New York to participate in the United Nations General Assembly meeting, met with the foreign ministers of various countries, including the foreign ministers of Sweden, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Venezuela, he met and discussed with Eritrea, Mauritania, Uganda, Qatar, UAE, Jordan, Belarus, Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

According to Iran Press, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian discussed the latest field situation and political developments in the country during a meeting with "Gir Pederson," the UN Secretary General's special envoy for Syria.

In the meeting, Amir- Abdollahian also emphasized humanitarian issues in Syria.
