New York (IP)- In the meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in New York, the two top diplomats exchanged views on the latest developments in bilateral relations and the Caucasus region.

Iran PressAmerica: Hossein Amirabdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, assessed the exchanges and implementation of agreements between the two countries in the last year as positive and on the way to progress.

Top Iranian diplomat announced the readiness of the Islamic Republic to help the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia to resolve the differences peacefully.

The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov,  while rejecting the claims about the changes in the region's geopolitics and the international borders, declared his country's interest in resolving the territorial and border disputes with Armenia more quickly in the framework of intra-regional cooperation.
