Tehran (IP) - Iranian President says he has no plan to either meet or negotiate with the US authorities.

Iran PressIran news: Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi left Tehran for New York on Monday morning to attend the 77th UN General Assembly.

Before his departure, Raisi said the meeting was an opportunity for Iran to express its rational viewpoints, saying: "Due to the fact that the world's media environment is under the control of the great powers and the domination system, these opportunities should be used to elaborate on the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran and explain the oppression practiced on the great Iranian nation." 

Raisi said that he would have meetings with the Iranians living in New York as well as meetings with the presidents of some countries on the sidelines of the 77th United Nations General Assembly.

He stressed: "We will defend the rights of the great nation of Iran firmly, and we will explain the oppression and corruptions that have make the world suffering."

Ebrahim Raisi is to attend the 77th United Nations General Assembly to advocate “fair international order through economic multilateralism.”
