Iran Press/ Iran News: Alireza Moqaddasi stated on Sunday that Iran and EEU trade value from March 21 to August 21 set a 30 percent hike record compared to the same period of last Iranian year.
He added that the value of trade exchanged between Iran and EEU member states in the first five months of the current Iranian year was $1,326,394,000.
The Iranian official also pointed to the salient measures taken by his administration in line with the implementation of the Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) between Iran and EEU to increase the volume of foreign trade among its members and highlighted that Iran took three measures in three intra-organizational, national and international sections which led to 30% hike in bilateral trade during the mentioned period.
He also explained that the total of necessary measures taken by IRICA led to reduced fulfilling customs formalities between EEU member states and acceleration of customs clearance activities.
Iran exported non-oil products to EEU member states, valued at about $522,141,000, from March 21 to August 21, 2022, showing a 15% growth compared to the same period of last Iranian year, he added.
During this period, Iran’s top products were exported to the EEU member states, including Russian Federation, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus, Moqaddasi concluded.
