In response to the non-constructive statement of the three European countries, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman advised these countries to play a more active role to provide a solution to end the few remaining disagreements.

Iran PressIran news: The three European countries that are members of the JCPOA (Germany, France and Great Britain) repeated their claims about nuclear negotiations with Iran in a statement on Saturday.

These three European countries, who had neglected their obligations throughout the implementation of the JCPOA, claimed: "As we moved closer to an agreement, Iran reopened separate issues related to legally binding obligations under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and the safeguards agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency."

In this statement, repeating the attempts to throw the ball in Iran's court, the European sides claimed that this recent request has created serious doubts about Iran's intention and commitment to reach a successful conclusion about the JCPOA.

In response to the non-constructive statement and against the goodwill of three European countries regarding the recent negotiations, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said: "It is surprising and regrettable that in a situation where diplomatic interactions and exchange of messages are going on between the negotiating parties and the coordinator of the talks to finalize the negotiations, three European countries issue such a statement in a deviant action and far from a fruitful approach in the negotiations."

Referring to the good, serious will of the Islamic Republic of Iran to finalize the agreement, Kaanani reminded that the progress of the negotiations in many stages, including the recent stage, was the result of the initiatives and ideas of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He warned the European parties about third parties who are against the negotiation process from the beginning and are now trying to make the negotiations fail with all their might.

He added: "It is regrettable that three European countries have taken a step in the path of the Zionist regime's failure of negotiations with this ill-considered statement, and it is obvious that if such an approach continues, they must also accept responsibility for its results."

Referring to the history of cooperation and constructive interaction of the Islamic Republic as a responsible member of the Non-Proliferation Treaty with the International Atomic Energy Agency, Kaanani once again emphasized the need to avoid politicizing and making baseless accusations against Iran.

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman said: "It is a pity that European countries, on the one hand, fully support a regime that has hundreds of nuclear warheads and does not adhere to any of the international non-proliferation mechanisms, and on the other hand, they launch a media campaign against the completely peaceful nuclear program of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has been subjected to the most extensive inspections."

Advising the Europeans to make up for their failure to fulfill their many obligations towards the Iranian nation, Kanaani warned them against using the language of threats and stated: "US failure in the campaign of maximum pressure should be a lesson for all parties who unknowingly think that threats and sanctions can prevent the Iranian people from pursuing their rights and securing their interests."

Nasser Kanaani emphasized: "Iran still has the will and readiness to finalize the agreement and believes that if there is the necessary will and avoiding external pressures, it is possible to reach an agreement quickly."

On September 2, Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesman Nasser Kanani announced the submission of the Islamic Republic's comments on the US response to the draft text of the agreement and said that the text sent has a constructive approach with the aim of finalizing the negotiations.
