Tehran(IP)- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman expressed Iran’s concern following the news published in some media about the inappropriate interaction of local authorities in Tirana with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its members.

Iran PressIran News: Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama announced on Wednesday the termination of relations with Iran by making baseless accusations against the country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, also said: "If the mentioned content quoted from media sources is true, it is a behavior contrary to international law and the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Rights, and the responsibilities regarding its violation fall on the government of Tirana."

Further, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement rejecting the unproven claims against the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasized that the type of action and role played by third parties in levering these claims against the country shows the influence of countries that support terrorism and sedition in this regard.

The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, referring to the organized media and political movements immediately after the announcement of the decision of the government of Albania, emphasized that the immediate issuance of the statement of the American government, as well as the reception of this decision by the Zionist media, shows the existence of a pre-designed plan to create a political smear campaign against the Islamic Republic of Iran has a story.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement, also referring to the hosting of a prominent terrorist sect by the Albanian government, expressed concern regarding Tirana's influence from third parties and the misplaced and inappropriate decision taken by the Albanian government.
