Isfahan (IP)- Iran's Army's 1401(2022) Ground Force drills were held last night with a night-time helicopter air operation equipped with night vision systems in the Nasrabad area of ​​Isfahan, the center of the country.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to Iran Press, the Army Aviation, with some hunting and offensive helicopters, first carried out a widespread off-night mission with a pre-assault attack in the designated area.

According to the report, extensive and coordinated helicopter flights, night shooting, executing aerial operations of special rapid reaction teams in the shortest possible time, support for maneuvering, information exchange, testing, and evaluation of the Shafaq optimized air-to-ground missile with a three-fold range increase compared to the previous generation missiles and the widespread use of night vision systems were among the measures of this phase of exercise.

The 65th Brigade Rangers also completed the night attack against operational planning immediately after the Heliborne on the target.

After a special operation mission, several offensive helicopters immediately withdrew the Army's Rapid Reaction Forces from the target area.

In this part of the drill, the surveillance and observation of the area will be carried out using Mohajer drones.

The Army's missile units and artillery also launch optimized missiles and smart bullets against specified targets.

According to the report, the implementation of electronic warfare operations, the landing of paratroopers in the area, and air loading and helicopter fire support for armored columns are other plans of the Army's ground force exercise.
