Tehran(IP)- Iranian Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Law Enforcement says that Iran-Türkiye relations are very constructive and progressing.

Iran PressIran News: A meeting was held at Iran's Interior Ministry on Wednesday between the Deputy Interior Minister of Türkiye Tayyab Sabri Erdel and the Iranian Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Law Enforcement Majid Mirahmadi.

Referring to the talks between the parties, Mirahmadi stated that in today's meeting, various issues were discussed, including border issues, drug and human trafficking, and the exchange of convicts between the two countries.

Mirahmadi said: "The main goal of cooperation between Iran and Turkey is based on the policies of Ebrahim Raisi's administration that emphasizes the development of relations with the neighboring countries, especially Türkiye, as one of Iran's friendly neighbors.

He added that Iran and Türkiye have extensive cooperation in security and law enforcement fields.

While expressing his satisfaction with the presence of the Turkish delegation in Iran, Mirahmadi said that both sides would benefit and enjoy each other's points of view.
