Iran Press/ Europe: Iran's Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) revival talks have reached a point where Iran is reviewing the US response to its response as much as there have been ambiguities in the public domain about the revival of the deal.
President Raisi has reiterated Iran's demands in talks aimed at reviving the 2015 deal, stating that safeguards accusations against Tehran are baseless and politically motivated. International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) recently asked Iran for explanations on traces of enriched uranium at undeclared sites.
Iran and the remaining JCPOA parties have been in talks to revive the deal for over a year.
"During the meeting in Moscow on August 31, the Ministers of foreign affairs of Russia and Iran will pay special attention to the situation around the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action also known as JCPOA," the Russian foreign ministry tweeted.
On August 31, Sergei Lavrov will hold talks with his Iranian colleague Hossein Amr Abdollahian here in Moscow," the tweet reads.
"The ministers will pay special attention to the situation around JCPOA, the negotiation process for the restoration of which has entered the "last stage," the ministry highlighted.
