Tehran (IP) – The 13th joint meeting of Iran and China friendship associations was held to expand the two side's political and economic cooperation.

Iran PressIran News: Head of Iran-China friendship association Allaedin Boroujerdi, former Iranian envoy to China Fereydoon Vardinejad, President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) Lin Songtian, and some other officials attended the event.

The participating scholars and experts in diplomacy, economy, academic, and other fields reviewed the way organizations and mechanisms of friendship between Iran and China can play a role in strengthening social foundations and public opinion of China-Iran ties, broadening cooperation within the framework of the 'Belt and Road Initiative' plan and developing all-out ties.

Iran's Tabriz and China's Jinju will ink an MoU.
