Tehran (IP) - Iran’s Vice President for Executive Affairs says that releasing a part of Iran’s assets is the result of the government’s interaction with other countries.

Iran PressIran News: Solat Mortazavi made the remarks in response to Iran Press, emphasizing that Iran seeks to expand interaction with all countries, especially neighboring countries.

He said: “The government is shoring up relations with neighboring countries and has good ties with different countries, which has resulted in releasing part of the country’s assets.”

In response to the Iran Press’ question about the performance of President Ebrahim Raisi’s administration in expanding diplomatic relations, Mortazavi said: “The government deeply believes in close contact with the world and has had very good relations with countries, especially its neighbors.”

He clarified Iran’s permanent membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization: “In the field of foreign policy and regional diplomacy, the government and the president personally established extensive contacts.”

He stressed that Iran’s membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) is a success.
