August 21st is the International Day of Mosques and Iran Press' correspondent has depicted the beauty and Iranian-Islamic architecture of the construction of mosques in Iran's Tabriz.

The world's largest covered market in Tabriz is one of the few places that has many mosques with Iranian-Islamic architecture, which has a unique beauty.

There are 30 mosques in the Grand Bazaar of Tabriz, some of which are more than 700 years old. They were built during the rule of Ilkhans, Aqqoyunlu, Safavid and Qajar.

Each of the mosques in the grand and traditional bazaar of Tabriz has been built with the genius of Iranian architects with a variety of designs, the most beautiful of which are the Hassan Padeshah Mosque, the 63 Pillar Mosque, the Jameh Mosque, the Tomb Mosque, the Ipakchilar Mosque, the Sadeqieh Mosque and other mosques.

The 63 Pillar Mosque is the pinnacle of Iranian architecture and art in the Qajar era, and this beautiful and spectacular work has been registered as a national monument of Iran.

After years of construction of these mosques in Tabriz bazaar, the bazaars still close their businesses during prayer time and perform their religious duty by attending these religious places and also helping the needy in different ways.

The mosque is the beating heart of the Islamic world, which since the beginning of Islam has always had multiple functions of worship, political, cultural and educational activities, and is considered the main religious capital of Islamic countries.
