Tehran (IP) – The Spokesman for Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade says Tehran will set up six exhibitions in the Qatari capital of Doha on the occasion of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Iran PressIran News: Iran has voiced preparedness to host the travelers of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which is scheduled to take place from November 21 to December 18 this year in the Persian Gulf kingdom.

The Iranian Team-Melli will begin their quest against England on the opening day of the World Cup on November 21st. This will be Iran’s 6th appearance on football’s biggest stage.

Omid Ghalibaf stated that five exhibitions introducing Iranian goods and products and one exhibition of handwoven carpets and handicrafts would be held in Doha.

As licensed by the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) and Iran International Exhibitions Company (IIEC), these five exhibitions will be held in Oct. 2022 in the fields of foodstuff, carpet, handicrafts, furniture and chandelier, decorative, construction materials, Islamic fashion style, hotel management, catering, technical and engineering services.

The ministry spokesman also pointed to the Iranian handwoven and handicrafts exhibition and noted that the exhibition would be held at the initiative taken by the Iranian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts in Doha, concurrent with the organizing world’s most prestigious sports event in Qatar.

In this respect, he said a direct shipping transportation line was launched between the two countries, adding: “In addition, suitable ways have been paved for exchanging money through a non-banking system.”
