Urmia (IP) - The 7th National Handicraft Exhibition, with the participation of 120 artists from across Iran, introducing 60 types of handicrafts, was held at the permanent international fairground in Urmia, northwest of Iran.

Iran PressIran News: The 7th National Handicraft Exhibition was held for five days, from August 15 to 19, 2022, to support the marketing of handicrafts and the development of handicrafts among Iranian families and to support producers and artists.

All kinds of rugs, enameling, hand-embroidered leather, pottery, hand-woven carpets and other handicraft products were displayed in the exhibition and were welcomed by the visitors.

Handicrafts are the basis of the tourism boom in Iran, and in addition to the economic aspect, they also play an important role in creating more job opportunities. All the provinces have their own handicrafts that introduce Iran's beautiful and rich culture and civilization.
