Iran Press/ Iran news: The Republic of Azerbaijan is one of Iran's neighbors, which has wanted to expand cooperation with Iran in various fields in recent years.
Head of the Iranian delegation to Azerbaijan, Brigadier-General Farhad Arianfar, stated that during this five-day trip, meetings were held between the two sides and drawing the defense and security road map of the two countries, demining the liberated areas, creating the necessary mechanisms to ensure the security of the transit route and energy, participation in the defense training and reconstruction of the liberated areas were discussed and emphasized.
He noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to cooperate with the Republic of Azerbaijan in all fields.
Iranian delegation also paid a visit to the Alley of Shehids (Cemetry of Martyrs) in Baku.
The delegation paid tribute to the memory of the country's independence and territorial integrity martyrs, laid flowers at their graves, and a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
