Islamabad (IP) - Iran and Pakistan are scheduled to sign the economic cooperation agreement on Thursday at the end of the 21st Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation meeting to boost economic ties.

Iran PressAsia: On Thursday, at the end of the 21st Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation meeting between Iran and Pakistan, cooperation agreements between the two countries will be signed.

The 21st Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation meeting between Iran and Pakistan will be held for two days. The solutions of the two countries will be reviewed to strengthen bilateral relations in the commercial, economic, road, sea, and rail communications, customs cooperation, and banking system.

" Shahriar Afandizadeh, "Acting Deputy of Transportation of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of Iran, at the opening ceremony of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation between Iran and Pakistan in Islamabad, said that in the transportation sector, speeding up and streamlining goods, passengers and tourists between the two countries is on the agenda.

Afandizadeh emphasized that the purpose of expanding economic cooperation between Iran and Pakistan is peace and prosperity for both nations so that a bright future can be established for the two neighboring countries.

"Umir Karim," the deputy finance minister of Pakistan, also said in this meeting that the strengthening of commercial and economic cooperation between Iran and Pakistan can lead to the welfare and comfort of the people of the two countries.

Umair Karim stated that Iran and Pakistan could have strong relations relying on brotherhood and common culture due to their excellent economic capacities to meet each other's needs.

"Rostam Ghasemi," the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran, has traveled to Pakistan at the head of a high-ranking delegation. In addition to participating in this meeting, he is supposed to have discussions with high-ranking officials of Pakistan, including the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, and Finance Minister of Pakistan.
