Iran Press/ Iran Sports: The fifth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games officially commenced in Turkiye’s Konya, with the official opening ceremony on Tuesday, August 9th.
The Iranian sports minister Hamid Sajjadi arrived in Konya on Saturday morning and was welcomed by Iranian sports officials, Iran’s ambassador to Turkey, and the officials of the Islamic Solidarity Games.
Iran’s sports squad attended the event with 169 male and 110 female athletes in 17 courses.
