Presidential tour:

Kerman (IP) - Iranian President along with cabinet members arrived at Kerman Airport on the 31st leg of his provincial trips.

Iran PressIran News: Ebrahim Raisi told reporters at the airport that Kerman enjoys tourist capacity and an efficient human resource encompassing young educated forces.

Raisi said that the government was determined to complete the half-finished projects in the province and reduce poverty that was misrepresenting the face of the city.

Pointing out that the successes of the government in servicing the people was subject to the public participation, Raisi said their participation in the investments, especially in the southern part of the province is of paramount importance.

The southern part of Kerman enjoys high agriculture, fishery, and animal farming capacities.

Kerman is the capital city of Kerman Province, southeastern Iran.

The economy of Kerman is mostly based on farming, notably nut farming and also mining. Sarchashmeh Copper mine is the second biggest copper mine in the world after the one located in Chile.

Pistachios are an important part of the economy in Kerman, with Kerman Province being the largest producer.
