The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Sultanate of Oman exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Iran PressIran news: In a telephone conversation on Wednesday, Hossein Amirabdollahian and Badr Albusaidi discussed the latest developments of the Vienna talks to revive the Iranian nuclear agreement 2015 known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action(JCPOA).

Amirabdollahian, while conveying the greetings of President Ebrahim Raisi to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, appreciated the Persian Gulf Arab country's views and efforts in the negotiations to lift the sanctions against Iran.

The top Iranian diplomat, referring to the recent aggression of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, condemned these attacks.

For his part, Badr Albusaidi emphasized Iran's constructive role in the Vienna talks, stating, "Oman believes that the success of the negotiations is in the interest of all parties."

Elsewhere, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman referred to the rights of the Palestinian people and said, "Oman has always supported the realization of the rights and aspirations of the Palestinian people and will stand by them."

The two sides also discussed some bilateral issues.
