Iran Press/ Europe: The World Junior Taekwondo Championships started on Tuesday, August 11th, with the participation of 786 taekwondo players from 91 countries, hosted by Bulgaria in the “Armets” hall in Sofia, and after 6 days of competition, our country’s teams finished as runners-up in both competitions. The boys and girls section is over.
South Korea won 5 gold medals, 1 silver medal, 1 bronze medal and a total of 718 points. The Iranian national team, which participated in this competition with eight taekwondo players, won two golds, two silvers and 370 points, and Thailand stood in third place with one gold, two silvers, one bronze and 211 points.
Turkey with 211, Belgium with 127, Germany with 94 and Uzbekistan with 93 points took the next titles. 219
