Vienna(IP)- After separate meetings with the representatives of Iran and the United States of America, the Deputy Secretary General of the European Union said that the negotiations are progressing and he is optimistic about the outcome.

Iran PressEurope: According to Iran Press, the deputy secretary general of the European External Action Service and the coordinator of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action(JCPOA), "Enrique Mora" raised this issue on Sunday evening when he was talking about the latest updates on the negotiations.

He said that the negotiations had made progress in the last four days. This European official said about the remaining differences to reach a final agreement: "I cannot go into further details."

Mora stated:" We were negotiating about some technical issues in the text presented by Mr. Burrell."

He also commented on the process of talks: "We are moving forward; I expect that we will finish the talks soon."

Talking about whether the Americans are ready to lift the sanctions, he said: " The prerequisite to the agreement is that they lift the sanctions and the Iranians fulfill their nuclear commitments. This is the agreement we are negotiating."

 He further said that he is definitely optimistic about the result.

These statements of Mora have been raised while Russia's chief negotiator, Mikhail Ulyanov, said today after meeting with the representative of the European Union in Vienna that negotiations to lift the sanctions are progressing.

On Thursday, the negotiating delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, headed by Ali Bagheri Kani, arrived in Vienna, the capital of Austria, to continue negotiations on lifting sanctions.

Iranian diplomats have repeatedly emphasized: "The stability of the agreement is in its balance and assurance against assurance."
