Tehran (IP) - The representative of Arak in Iran’s Parliament said that the Albanian government's cooperation with Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) is against the international laws.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking in today's public session of the Parliament honoring the memory of Operation Mersad, Mohammad-Hassan Asafari said: "The Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) is a terrorist organization, and giving facilities to them is against the international laws."

According to Iran Press Parliament correspondent, the representative of the people of Arak, Kamijan and Khandab in the Parliament said: "We warn the Albanian government to stop this behaviour since the MKO is a terrorist organization."

Since 2016, the current headquarters of the members of Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) has been in Tirana, the capital of Albania. Two thousand members of the MKO who have killed more than 17 thousand Iranian people in terrorist acts in the last 40 years live in Tirana and are supported by the Albanian government.

Since 2014, some 3,000 members of the MKO have settled in Albania.
